Trace ‘n Chase takes Jr. NBA Greece to new heights with the “Knockout Challenge”!
Trace ‘n Chase, Europe’s top Sports Card and Memorabilia agency, recently kicked off the “Knockout Challenge” for the Jr. NBA Greece leagues that are running in Thessaloniki and Athens! This exciting mini-tournament not only provided entertainment for the audience but also gave young basketball players the chance to show off their skills and compete against each other in a supportive environment!
The challenge is being held in collaboration with Jr. NBA Greece, a program that has been incredibly successful in Greece in recent years, aiming at introducing the fundamentals of basketball to children aged 5-14 years old.
The rules are pretty straightforward as all players of each team face off against each other, with the winners of each round advancing to the next round, the losers being eliminating, and the last player standing being crowned as the champion!
The tournament takes place during the halftime of the games every weekend and the atmosphere is electric to say the least as young players are getting cheered on by their peers, parents, and coaches, with the energy in the arenas spreading contagiously!
The young athletes were excited to take home NBA Champion Team Sets from the Golden State Warriors and the Milwaukee Bucks, courtesy of Panini America; trading cards have always been a favorite among young sports enthusiasts, as they provide an opportunity for kids to learn more about their favorite players and the game.
All winners of the regular season will advance to the Final Round of the mini-tournament during the league’s Final Four where the big champion in each division (Attica and Thessaloniki) will walk away with the big prize!
