A New Homecourt in the Hood: Street Basketball Returns to Alkmene Park thanks to Trace ‘n Chase and the Municipal of Thessaloniki!
Trace ‘n Chase is extremely proud to have supported the complete renovation of the Alkmene Park basketball court in Charilaou, in collaboration with the Municipal of Thessaloniki. This project was driven by a simple but powerful goal: to bring basketball back to the community and give local local kids a court they can truly call home.
A Court Reborn
The renovated court features a fresh playing surface, a clean, modern layout, and an overall upgrade that brings new life and new energy to Alkmene Park. What was once a worn-down space is now a vibrant street hoops destination, ready to welcome kids, teenagers, and adults who share a love for the game.
More Than Just Basketball
This wasn’t just about upgrading a court — it was about creating a gathering point. A place where the community can connect, stay active, and express itself through basketball. A real homecourt built on teamwork, respect, and passion for the game.
