Trace ‘n Chase and Friends Support the 3rd “Olympic Day Park” Day in Thessaloniki!

The 3rd “Olympic Day Park” day in Thessaloniki brought together some of Greece’s most beloved sports figures, including Angelos Charisteas, Nikos Zisis, and Giannis Giannoulis, inspiring hundreds of young fans to stay active and embrace the values of teamwork and respect.

As part of our ongoing mission to grow the game and spark passion for sports collecting, Trace ‘n Chase proudly participated by distributing sports cards repacks by Panini America to children and families, giving the next generation a tangible connection to their athletic heroes and the joy of collecting.

Hosted by renowned host Giorgos Lentzas, at the Environmental Park of Thermi by the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki, the Municipality of Thermi, and the Solid Waste Management Authority of Central Macedonia (Fo.D.S.A. K.M.), the festival once again proved to be one of the region’s most anticipated family events, attracting over 5,000 visitors of all ages!

Celebrating the International Olympic Day 2025, the event was a lively tribute to sport, environmental awareness, and culture, perfectly aligned with the values of the Olympic Agenda: excellence, respect, and friendship.

The day featured a dynamic mix of sports activities, educational workshops, music, and interactive games, culminating in the “Thermi’s Sport Tournament” and the awarding of distinguished athletes from the local community, including rowing champion Alexandros Chatziavgoustidis and water polo athlete Filio Ganimi.

Notable guests such as Angelos Charisteas, Nikos Zisis, and Giannis Giannoulis inspired participants with their words about teamwork, athleticism, and the importance of giving back to society — messages that deeply resonate with Trace ‘n Chase’s mission to grow the game and empower the next generation.
