World-renowned DJ, producer, and passionate card collector Steve Aoki visits Trace ‘n Chase for an EPIC Hobby Hangout!
Trace ‘n Chase welcomed a very special guest last week in world-renowned DJ, producer, and passionate card collector Steve Aoki!
Known not just for his electrifying music but also for his deep love of the hobby, Steve joined our team at our headquarters in Thessaloniki for a one-of-a-kind session filled with box breaks, hobby talk, and an inspiring look into the creative world behind his latest projects.
A Hobbyist at Heart
Steve Aoki may be known to millions for headlining music festivals around the globe, but within the hobby community, he’s earned serious respect as a dedicated collector and innovator. During his visit, Steve sat down with the Trace ‘n Chase team to talk all things trading cards, from his earliest collecting memories to his vision of where the hobby is headed.
We shared stories, ripped open a few incredible boxes, and pulled some exciting hits, including several top rookies and legends from Steve’s personal favorite teams. His knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for the hobby were clear from the first pack to the last pull and it was a pure joy to have such an ambassador of the hobby with us even for just a few hours!

One of the highlights of the visit was the spontaneous live box break, streamed directly to our fans across. Steve’s energy behind the table was contagious — calling out big pulls, laughing with our team, and interacting with collectors in real time. The session captured exactly what the hobby is all about: passion, community, and the thrill of the chase.

As a special part of his visit, we unveiled a couple custom-made Trace ‘n Chase x Steve Aoki Mystery Boxes from our exclusive Finders Keepers collection — a one-of-a-kind collectible crafted specifically for Steve.
