Drew’s 2024 NFL Draft Big Board!

Welcome back NFL fans!! Taking under consideration the fact that the only thing you can take for granted during a Draft, and especially during an NFL Draft, is the element of surprise, our NFL expert,Drew, is trying to guess what we will see in a few hours from now, in what is shaping to be an exciting 2024 class!
First things first, keep in mind that most likely:
- 6 Quarterbacks will be drafted in the 1st Round…
- No Defensive Players are likely to go off before the No. 8 pick…
- There won’t be any Running Backs drafted in the 1st Round…
Now let’s take a look into the Big Board:
With Tyson Bagent as the starter, the moment we speak, Bears are desperate for a QB in the draft (I am also desperate for selling some Bagent RCs on eBay lol). They also need depth in the WR position, but it’s more than obvious that the commissioner (booo👎🏼) will start the Draft calling the name of Caleb Williams, QB from USC. He is the best in his class, end of story. Arm strength and playmaking are only two of his numerous talents as he looks poised for a great NFL career.
Pick 2, Washington Commanders
I will be shocked if the Commanders don’t draft Jayden Daniels, another QB, this time from LSU (and yes, the same college where Joe Burrow thrived). The reason is obvious… after the trade of Sam Howell (I am still crying over an RPA of him I own), it’s Marcus Mariota or… Chaos. Jayden Daniels, the Heisman Trophy winner, can take over from the first week.
Pick 3, New England Patriots
Robert Kraft called it… Patriots need a young QB, and no one looks more like TB12 than Drake Maye, QB from North Carolina. And he is probably referring to the looks, not the skills yet lol. When the owner calls for a QB and you have a rookie head coach the pick is likely a version of ‘’my way or the highway’’ and that’s why New England will likely retain the pick and go with a young QB.
Bailey Zappe Collectors, feel free to cry and vent, this is a safe space…
Pick 4, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona actually has a QB, or at least this is what they believe… so they are basically going for the best player in the draft, Marvin Harrison Jr., WR from Ohio State. The Cardinals need a stud WR and a blue chip to build a great foundation so, regardless of whether Harrison is the next Larry Fitzgerald Jr. or not, he is the draft pick for Arizona.
– NOT OFFICIAL – Pick 5, Minnesota Vikings (from Chargers)
It looks like Minnesota will trade a gazillion of picks to move to No. 5 and select the “Ice Man” J.J. McCarthy, QB from Michigan. After Kirk Cousins got away with the ridiculous contract he signed Atlanta, the Vikings don’t seem to believe Jaren Hall, and they are determined to bring a rookie QB for their Jefferson-Addison explosive WR duo!
Pick 6, New York Giants
Giants’ front office is under a little bit of pressure and if they draft a QB it will be an alright decision but I believe they are coming for Malik Nabers, WR from LSU and teammate of Jayden Daniels! His best ability is by far the run after the catch which puts him into an elite category of receivers.
Pick 7, Tennessee Titans
Titans could easily go for Joe Alt but my guess is that the second best WR of the class will be drafted here. He operates under the name Rome Odunze and he played for Washington while Tennessee is desperate for big bodies…
Pick 8, Atlanta Falcons
After seven picks it might be time for a defensive player, don’t you think? Dallas Turner, an impressive Edge from University of Alabama is my pick for a team that looks ready to get right back into contention!
Pick 9, Chicago Bears
Hello Bears (again)! If WR Rome Odunze is still here, it’s obvious that he is the pick but if he’s not available it could be Brian Thomas Jr., another WR from LSU.
Pick 10, New York Jets
The first Tight End of the draft, my favorite position, will likely be Brock Bowers from University of Georgia. Jets can look forward to a Sam LaPorta-esque rookie season from a great prospect that looks ready to contribute!
– NOT OFFICIAL – Pick 11 Los Angeles Chargers (from Vikings)
If OT Joe Alt from University Notre Dame is somehow still available, it’s a no brainer for the Chargers, if not, they will probably go for another OT, JC Latham. The Chargers need all the help they can get and Jim Harbaugh looks poised to build a winning team around Justin Herbert.
Pick 12, Denver Broncos
An Edge for the desperate Broncos… Between Laiatu Latu and Dallas Turner, I prefer Latu, from UCLA. He is a very talented player and will be a big upgrade to another team that is looking to fill in some holes .
Pick 13, Las Vegas Raiders
I don’t see the Raiders drafting a QB here… Taliese Fuaga, a plug ‘n play OT from Oregon State seems like the perfect fit.
Pick 14, New Orleans Saints
JC Latham, OT from University of Alabama
Pick 15, Indianapolis Colts
Brian Thomas Jr. would be a perfect WR fit if available but I don’t see him here this deep into the Draft so Quinyon Mitchell, a CB from Toledo, is my pick.
Pick 16, Seattle Seahawks
Troy Fautanu, OT from Washington.
Pick 17, Jacksonville Jaguars
If the Jags keep this pick they will likely go with Terrion Arnold, Cornerback from Alabama (Sweet home or not).
Pick 18, Cincinnati Bengals
A pass rusher would be a good idea for the Bengals front office here… and Byron Murphy II, DT from Texas it is!
Pick 19, Los Angeles Rams
The team who drafted Puka Nacua and has Cooper Kupp obviously doesn’t need a WR. Ice Cream and drafting an Edge is always a good idea, lol. If available, Jared Verse from Florida State is my choice here!
