Hellenic Cheerleading Team shines at the ICU European Cheerleading Championships in Norway with the support of Trace ‘n Chase!

The ICU European Cheerleading Championships took place in Norway this year from June 28-30th and Trace ‘n Chase was thrilled to step into the spotlight as a Silver Sponsor again, championing the incredible athletes of the Hellenic Cheerleading Team as they showcased their skills on the European stage.

Consisting of an astonishing number of 342 athletes, the Greek delegation once again proved its passion and dedication, returning from Norway with their suitcases full of medals, 13 in total, putting them in first place in the number of medals among the rest of Europe. Hellenic Star played an important role in this success, collecting 5 medals and maintaining for the second year in a row the title of the most victorious club in Europe!
A special mention deserves to be made to the GP – PANDORA team, which set a record in the performance category as it won the gold medal in the Senior Jazz category for the 3rd year in a row! An achievement that is a shining example of the athletes’ dedication and love for the sport of Cheerleading.
The successes of the rest of the clubs was also huge, with Hellenic Star winning 2 silver medals in the Junior Jazz and Senior All Girl Elite categories, with the Electra and Orion teams respectively. At the same time, 2 bronze medals were won by HYDRA JUNIOR and CYGNUS teams, who won 3rd place in the Junior Coed Advanced and Junior All Girl Advanced categories respectively.
Also important were the distinctions of:
Nina Andreanidou & Katerina Apostolatou who took 4th place in Senior Double Pom as well as the HYDRA SENIOR team with 4th place in Senior Coed Elite. 5th place was won by the RIGEL team in the Youth Pom category, while the Draco and Rockets teams won 9th place in the Youth All Girl Median and Junior Pom categories.
