“3×3 Sundays by Trace ‘n Chase” kickoff with a fun and exciting game💥

In the first “3×3 Sunday by Trace ‘n Chase” event, Eurohoops Academy welcomed Dafni Dafniou and AO Dionysos with more than 45 children born in 2013 enjoying 1.5 hours of play at the state-of-the-art Eurohoops sports facilities in Kifissia where through the advice of their coaches they learned the rules of 3×3 and improved individually, while making new friendships.

The emergence of 3×3 basketball as a global phenomenon has reshaped the way everyone views the sport. With its fast-paced, high-energy gameplay, 3×3 has captured the imagination of fans worldwide and has become a breeding ground for future basketball stars. Eurohoops and Trace ‘n Chase are taking this excitement to the next level with a dedicated platform for academy athletes to shine.

Nestled in the heart of the basketball community in Athens, the Dome is more than just a venue—it’s a symbol of innovation and progress of the game.
“3×3 Sundays by Trace ‘n Chase” helps not only showcase the raw talent of young athletes but also foster camaraderie, competition, and personal growth. The format of “3×3 Sundays by Trace ‘n Chase” is structured so that teams of young athletes compete in fast-paced, action-packed games, with a focus on skill, strategy, and teamwork. From precision shooting to lightning-fast transitions, every aspect of the game is on display as players vie for supremacy on the court.
The highlight of the day, of course, was the moment when the children received the gifts from Trace ‘n Chase! The young athletes of the three academies were really excited about receiving NBA repacks with trading cards by Panini America featuring all the NBA stars of past and present. The children were so delighted with their gifts that they started exchanging cards directly and made…dates to play together again!

“3×3 Sundays by Trace ‘n Chase” will take place once a month at the Eurohoops Dome, with the Eurohoops Academy hosting different teams, in different age categories. The participants of the 3×3 tournament will have the opportunity to play the fast and dynamic sport at the state-of-the-art sports facilities of Eurohoops in Kifissia, while Trace ‘n Chase will have prizes in store for everyone. In the 3×3 tournaments for athletes born before 2012, the winners will receive, in fact, a collector’s set of NBA Champions cards: the “2021 Panini Milwaukee Bucks NBA Champions Team Set Box” or the “2022 Panini Golden State Warriors NBA Champions Team Set Box”.
