Future Football Stars Meet Euro 2004 Legend Kostas Katsouranis and Take Home Panini Cards at Messinia Challenge 2026!

The next generation of footballers was back on the field at this year’s Messinia Challenge, where young athletes had another unforgettable opportunity to learn from one of the legends of Greece’s historic Euro 2004 triumph, Kostas Katsouranis!

The excitement didn’t end when the final whistle blew. Every child who participated in the Football Clinics received Panini soccer trading cards, giving the young players a special collectible to take home and continue their connection with the game.

As part of Messinia Challenge 2026 at Costa Navarino, the former Greek international and Euro 2004 champion returned to lead the Football Clinics powered by Miele, welcoming boys and girls ages 5 to 17 to the 5×5 field for an experience built around the love of the game.

Learning from a European Champion

For many young participants, the opportunity to train alongside a member of Greece’s legendary Euro 2004 squad was a moment they will not soon forget. Katsouranis shared his experience and passion for the game with the next generation, encouraging children of different ages and skill levels to enjoy football while learning valuable lessons about teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship.
The Football Clinics took place across multiple sessions during the Messinia Challenge weekend, allowing even more young athletes and families to become part of the experience.
