Trace ’n Chase Brings Panini EuroLeague Collecting to the 8th Stoiximan AegeanBall Festival

Three days. 193 teams. 270 games. Countless basketball memories.

The 8th edition of the Stoiximan AegeanBall Festival came to a spectacular close in Syros, delivering one of the biggest editions in the event’s history—and Trace ’n Chase was proud to be part of it.

Taking place from June 26–28, 2026, the FIBA 3×3 event once again transformed the heart of Ermoupoli into a basketball celebration, bringing together athletes, legends, amateur players, young basketball fans and thousands of spectators. This year’s festival set new records, with 193 teams competing across 270 games. 

But while the basketball action was happening on the court, the excitement of collecting was happening alongside it.

Bringing Panini EuroLeague Cards to the Fans

As part of our involvement in the festival, Trace ’n Chase brought Panini EuroLeague trading cards to Syros, giving attendees the opportunity to receive cards and take home a piece of the basketball experience.
For us, this was about more than simply putting trading cards in fans’ hands. It was about connecting the passion of the game with the passion of collecting and giving fans another way to celebrate the players, teams and moments that make European basketball special. And for some of the festival’s biggest winners, those cards became something even more special.

Turning Wins Into Collectibles

Competition was at the heart of AegeanBall, with teams battling throughout the three-day festival for the chance to be crowned champions.
To commemorate those victories, the winners of the 3×3 tournaments received custom-made frames featuring Panini EuroLeague trading cards. The same unique collectible experience was extended to the winners of the Knock Out Challenge, who also received custom-made frames featuring Panini EuroLeague cards.

These specially created pieces turned a tournament victory into a one-of-a-kind basketball collectible—something the winners could keep long after the final buzzer.

Basketball Legends, One Incredible Weekend

The festival once again lived up to its reputation as a meeting point for some of the biggest names in Greek and European basketball.
The VIP competitions provided some of the weekend’s most memorable moments. In the VIP 4on4, Trident Vibers, featuring Ioannis Bourousis, Vangelis Mantzaris, Dino Radja, Kostas Kostakis, Kostas Papaloukas and others, took the title. Meanwhile, Stoiximan Knights, featuring Joe Arlauckas, Ioannis Papapetrou, Vassilis Kavvadas, Bryn Tyree and others, won the VIP 3×3 League after a thrilling 14–13 final.
The event also brought together generations of basketball talent and personalities, reinforcing what makes AegeanBall so special: the ability to bring the entire basketball community together in one place.

More Than Basketball

For Trace ’n Chase, being part of the 8th Stoiximan AegeanBall Festival was another opportunity to bring the world of sports cards and memorabilia closer to the athletes and fans who live and breathe the game.

Whether it was a fan receiving a Panini EuroLeague card, a 3×3 champion holding a custom-made frame celebrating their victory, or a winner of the Knock Out Challenge taking home a unique collectible, the goal was simple:

Make great basketball moments collectible.

That is what the hobby is all about.
