Hoops, Legends, and Island Dreams: Trace ‘n Chase Powers Basketball Magic at the 7th Santorini Experience!

From October 3-6, the 7th Santorini Experience welcomed athletes from around the world to the breathtaking island of Santorini, blending sports with the stunning Cycladic landscape. This year’s event featured a very special addition: a basketball clinic powered by Trace ‘n Chase, where legendary EuroLeague stars Giorgos Printezis and Joe Arlauckas shared their expertise with young athletes.

Santorini, famous for its whitewashed villages, the mesmerizing blue of the Aegean Sea, and its iconic sunsets, provided the perfect backdrop for this unique sports event. Over four days, professional and amateur athletes from 35 countries, including the U.S., Australia, the UK, and Japan, gathered to take part in activities celebrating the beauty and athletic spirit of the island.

Among the event’s highlights, Giorgos Printezis, a two-time EuroLeague champion, and Joe Arlauckas, a former EuroLeague star and European champion with Real Madrid, took center stage on October 6th at the Santorini Indoor Gym. They hosted a basketball clinic, bringing the magic of the sport to the local youth. Children from Santorini’s sports clubs had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball from two of the game’s greats.

The energy in the gym was electric as Printezis and Arlauckas demonstrated essential skills, sharing insights into their illustrious careers and inspiring the next generation of players. The collaboration with Trace ‘n Chase made it possible for these basketball legends to connect with the island’s youth, leaving a lasting impression and fostering a love for the game.
