Trace ‘n Chase empowers the future of basketball sponsoring the 2022-23 Jr. NBA Greece Final Four in Thessaloniki!
The Jr. NBA program has been empowering young basketball enthusiasts worldwide, nurturing their skills, and instilling core values of teamwork and sportsmanship and the collaboration between Trace ‘n Chase and Jr. NBA Greece for the Final 4 in Thessaloniki showcased their shared commitment to fostering youth basketball and promoting the love for the game as the event brought together talented young athletes, passionate coaches, and enthusiastic fans for an action-packed showcase of basketball excellence.
PAOK Sports Arena emitted an NBA flavor on the weekend of June 17-18, hosting the Jr. NBA Greece Final Four for the Thessaloniki League held for the first time in the city!
The Final Four was a culmination of months of intense competition among young athletes. 30 teams from the local E.KA.S.TH division participated in the league as young athletes from the broad area of Thessaloniki had the opportunity to enjoy the game, playing basketball with a tournament schedule that mirrors that of the NBA as it includes team drafts, regular season games and the Final Four to determine the Jr. NBA Champion!
The winners were the Dallas Mavericks (PAOK basketball academy) who prevailed in the final against the Toronto Raptors (Y.M.C.A.) with a 58-45 score and celebrated claiming the trophy and received their rings, according to NBA standards! All members of the winning team received a collectible NBA Champion set of the Milwaukee Bucks, courtesy of Panini America, while Ioannis from the Dallas Mavericks (PAOK basketball academy) received the DOLE 2023 MVP award and coach Thomas Dikas of the Dallas Mavericks (PAOK basketball academy) was named Kellogg’s Coach of the Year 2023!
