The athletes of the ASE Doukas basketball academy had the opportunity to experience a four-day full of basketball during their recent visit to Thessaloniki. as they traveled with their coach Stathis Koukis in order to play four very competitive friendly games against AO Aretsou Kalamaria, Mantoulidis, Asteras Plagiariou and Anagennisi Litochoro. In addition, they took a step off the court and into the exciting world of sports memorabilia by visiting Trace ‘n Chase. The kids were all smiles as they were introduced to the captivating hobby of collecting sports cards—discovering a new way to celebrate the game they love and fuel inspiration and dreams of greatness as every young collector does…!
After an in-depth introduction to the world of collectibles, sports cards and memorabilia, the highlight of the visit was undeniably when each young player received an NBA repack of collectible cards from Panini America. These special packs contained cards of some of the greatest players to ever play the game, from LeBron James to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic. The excitement of holding a piece of basketball history was both thrilling and inspiring for these aspiring athletes, giving them a taste of NBA magic.
Trace ‘n Chase was delighted to once again create a sense of connection with the game’s biggest stars. Moments like these can have a lasting impact on a young athlete’s journey, reminding them that basketball is more than just a game—it’s a culture!
